Scope of Work
GR Engineering Services Limited was appointed by Golden Spur Resources Pty Ltd (GSR) - a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bellevue Gold Limited (BGL) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works in relation to the 1.0 Mtpa gold processing plant and associated infrastructure for the Bellevue Gold Project in Western Australia.
The Project further comprises, Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), power generation (circa 10 MW), a mine dewatering and water storage pond, a potable water bore field, 332 room accommodation camp, and other supporting infrastructure (e.g. administration buildings, workshops, landfills, magazine compound, infrastructure corridors).
Previously, GR Engineering was engaged for the Definitive Feasibility Study finalising the process design, mass balances, plant and infrastructure layout, capital cost estimate, operating cost estimate and implementation schedule for the Project.
The Project was a historic gold mining operation and is located within the Agnew-Wiluna portion of the Norseman-Wiluna Greenstone belt appropriately 40 km north of Leinster in the Northern Goldfields region.
GR Engineering was awarded the $87.8 Million EPC contract in 2022 and construction for the plant commenced in March 2022 . Ore commissioning has commenced in October 2023 with practical completion achieved ahead of the contract schedule of November 2023.
