Scope of Work
Pantoro Ltd (PNR) engaged GR Engineering to undertake the design, construction and commissioning of the Norseman Gold Project in February 2021. The works included a combination of circuit refurbishment and construction of a new plant.
The Norseman Gold Operations are historic dating back to some of the earliest discoveries of gold in the south-eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.
The existing Norseman plant was demolished and an adjacent site prepared for the construction of the new facilities. The new 1.0 Mtpa processing plant includes a 3 stage crushing circuit, new 3.3 MW grinding mill, gravity gold recovery circuit, hybrid Carbon in Leach (CIL) circuit, Zadra elution system and gold recovery plant. Plant tailings will be thickened prior to disposal to the paddock style storage facility.
Design work commenced in April and site works in October 2021, following a short delay in the Project approvals process with the Project achieving practical completion on schedule on 4 September 2022.
