The Higginsville Treatment Plant commenced dry commissioning of the process facilities during the month of May, reaching this milestone maintains the focus of completing the facilities on schedule for handover to Avoca in June.
Power supply to the crushing plant motor control centre was established on 4th May and the wet plant motor control centre on 15th May. Commissioning of the process facilities has progressed steadily and to schedule, plant site lighting has been established in all areas and the no load running of process equipment continues to make progress.
GRES commissioning team and equipment vendors have started to attend site for commissioning of equipment and establishing training for process plant operators.
