GR Engineering Awarded $18 Million Contract for Telfer LP237 Refurbishment and Commissioning
GR Engineering Services Limited (ASX:GNG) (GR Engineering) today announced it had been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) lump sum contract by Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX:NCM) (Newcrest) for the refurbishment and commissioning of the LP237 dump leaching facility at Newcrest’s Telfer mine in Western Australia (Contract).
The revenue contribution to GR Engineering from the Contract is approximately $18 million, with the Contract works being due for completion in November 2012.
The works under the Telfer LP237 Contract include engineering design and documentation, procurement of materials and equipment, fabrication, construction, commissioning and project management.
