GR Engineering Services Limited (ASX:GNG) (GR Engineering) refers to its announcement of 24 March 2022 in relation to the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract (Contract) with Thunderbird Operations Pty Ltd (TOPL) for the mineral processing plant and associated facilities for the Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project (the Project), located in Western Australia.
TOPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kimberley Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (KMS), which is 50% owned by Sheffield Resources Limited (ASX:SFX) (Sheffield) and 50% owned by YGH Australia Investment Pty Limited.
GR Engineering is now pleased to announce that KMS has finalised its funding and TOPL has issued GR Engineering with a Full Notice to Proceed.
Commenting on the finalisation of the Project’s funding, GR Engineering’s Managing Director, Mr Geoff Jones, said:
